The winner of the 5th Annual Bloomington Comedy Festival, Jon Hancuff has been a mainstay of the midwest comedy scene for nearly a decade. He also won the Bob & Tom All-Star Comedy Competition and has performed in Arch City and Limestone Comedy Festivals. Jon actually started comedy in the early 1990's and won the Indiana University Comedy Competition while attending IU.

The Comedy Attic is proud to present the co-headlining weekend with Mark Bookwalter and Emily Davis! Both Emily and Mark have been not only Bloomington mainstays but are also regionally and nationally known as well.
Emily Davis is a Midwestern comic through-and-through, and a queer darling. She’s been featured at Big Pine, Limestone, Middle Ground, and other comedy festivals. She’s regular at The Comedy Attic, and has been seen doing comedy on Vice TV network. She’s sweet, she’s sharp, she’s silly, and off-stage she would love to talk to you about antiques!
Mark Bookwalter is a real silly goose and one handsome feller. As a kid he was an overweight nerd who used humor to combat bullies. Now he is an overweight nerd who uses humor to combat crippling depression and anxiety. He performs all over the country at comedy festivals, working with such acts as Beth Stelling, Kyle Kinane, Chris Gethard, Dana Gould, and more. In 2023 he released a live album and accompanying special ‘SAGE’. Mark was featured on a stop of the Conan O’Brien’s Team Coco House nationwide comedy tour. His mom says she is proud of him but he’s not quite convinced.

Eric Hook is a comedian based in Bloomington, Indiana, where he is a regular performer at The Comedy Attic. Known for his conversational style on stage, Eric has delighted audiences at venues across the United States, including bars, comedy clubs, town council meetings, EDM festivals, party barns, and even one guy’s living room. In recent years, Eric has been an active participant in several prominent comedy festivals, including Limestone, Rubber City, Last Best, North Carolina, Laughayette, and Sno Jam. He has also shared the stage with renowned comedians such as Laurie Kilmartin, Shane Torres, Sheng Wang, Rachel Feinstein, and Pete Holmes.

Zach Martina’s Comedy Attic Debut!
Zach Martina likes hot food sitting in his belly and the cooling sensation that a peppermint candy brings whilst taking a deep breath. Yes, he is a stand-up comedian but, if you’re reading this, you assumed that. Did you know that he is also a father, a husband, a 6 time cannon ball champion, AND a notary public? This is a guy with depth, a guy with layers.
His irritations with the inane instances of life & love have left him ranting and raving on stages across the world for over a decade. In that time, Zach has been featured at stand up festivals such as 10,000 Laughs, Limestone and Gilda’s Laughfest where he was named one of the “Best of the Midwest”. Brooks originally hails from Iowa where he attended the University of Iowa. In 2015, he released his debut album This Is Cool, Right?, which hit #1 on the iTunes charts and was included on PASTE Magazine’s 10 Best Comedy Albums of 2015 list. His television credits include HBO’s Girls, Comedy Central’s The Half Hour, @Midnight, Adam Devine’s House Party, NBC’s Late Night with Seth Myers, MTV’s Ridiculousness and TBS’ CONAN. He was a writer and cast member on Season 39 of NBC’s Saturday Night Live. Rolling Stone named Brooks as one the Top 45 Acts of Bonnaroo 2014. In 2012 he hit the comedy scene in stride when he was invited to perform at the New York Comedy Festival as a part of Comedy Central’s Top 10 Comics to Watch, and was a breakout performer as a new face at the prestigious Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal. Other festival appearances include SXSW, Sasquatch, Austin’s Moontower Comedy Festival, Portland’s Bridgetown Comedy Festival, Comedy Central South Beach Comedy Festival. Full Frontal Comedy is Indiana University's longest running comedy troupe. Full Frontal not only performs regularly on campus, but also around the state and country and now the world famous Comedy Attic. Each show is completely improvised, save a planned sketch to open the show, making every show a unique comedic experience.

Dan Donohue is a comedian, actor, and writer from Cape Cod, Massachusetts. He cut his teeth as a stand up in Boston before moving to Los Angeles where he regularly performs at the city’s iconic comedy venues. He can be seen throughout the rest of the country, headlining clubs, seminal indie rooms, and occasionally featuring for comedian and actor Jon Rudnitsky. He has also opened for Ryan Hamilton and late legend Norm MacDonald, among other names.
Dan hosts the podcast Danswers, formerly co-hosted Basket of Cats (with comedian Benton Ray), and is a frequent guest on Soberish with Jessa Reed. He can also be heard on A Closer Look, The Todd Glass Show, Cutting Weight, and more.
In 2020, Dan began to amass a major following on Tik Tok and Instagram by telling jokes while washing dishes. He continues to develop his comedy in various formats for his rapidly growing fanbase.
Before becoming a full-time comic, Dan worked as a night club security guard, construction worker, carpenter, physical therapy aid, restaurant runner, bike shop repairman, graveyard worker, tech assemblyman, and in waste management. Naturally, his hobbies now include yoga, meditating, and hiking. He still dabbles as a personal fitness and boxing trainer in his spare time and can sometimes be seen yelling at his famous clientele at an outdoor gym in Hollywood.
Dwight Simmons - One Night Only!
Dwight's debut comedy special, "Who's The Master" debuted on YouTube on July of 2023. In that same year, he was selected to the 10,000 Laughs, Milwaukee, Flyover and West-End Comedy Festivals. His self-produced album "Sip and Pass" reached #1 on the iTunes comedy charts, making it his second release to do so. He was listed as Indiana’s selection for Thrillist’s 50 Best Undiscovered Comics in the country. Dwight’s comedy has been featured on Kevin Hart’s LOL on Sirius XM and on the Bob and Tom show for which he is also a writer. He is a co-director of the Limestone Comedy Festival and the creator and host of the web series BrewTube Comedy. Mark Chalifoux’s Attic Debut!
Mark Chalifoux is a nationally touring stand-up comedian who’s been featured on Nateland, Dry Bar and FOX. His Midwestern upbringing contributes to the laid-back, relatable style that belies a sharp-wit and unflinching honesty honed through his rise in the comedy clubs of New York City.
Mark’s Dry Bar Comedy special got millions of views across social media and his debut album, “Think Fast”, opened at No. 2 in Apple Music and was called “one of the funniest albums of the year” by the Daily Dot. His jokes can be heard daily on SiriusXM and have been streamed more than 3 million times on Pandora.

After serving 5 years in the JROTC, Sahib Singh has not only proven himself on the battlegrounds, but also on the stage. The rising star from the Baltimore/D.C. stand-up scene has performed at clubs and colleges across the country, and in 2019, he won the Magooby’s New Comedian of the Year competition. His original videos have earned him a strong following on social media, and in 2021 he worked as a writer and performer for Comedy Central. His work has been featured on the CBS Comedy Showcase and the digital series AS SEEN ON ADULT SWIM.
Lucas Zelnick Returns to the Comedy Attic!
LUCAS ZELNICK is a stand-up comedian born, raised, and based in New York City, who challenges his cushy upbringing through punch-heavy material. Lucas’s stand-up clips have exploded online, where he has received over 100M views and 500K+ followers across Instagram and TikTok. In 2022, Lucas established a strong baseline for himself as a touring comedian, selling out 8 shows at Zanies Chicago. That same year, he appeared in SF Sketchfest and as a guest on Amazon Prime Video’s Sports Talk. 2023 was a breakout year for Lucas: he headlined the New York Comedy Festival, taped a secret set with Don't Tell Comedy, and taped his Comedy Central debut for Season 14 of Comedy Central Stand-Up Featuring. Patton Oswalt: Effervescent!
Patton Oswalt continues to leave his distinctive imprint across all areas of entertainment, from his award-winning comedy specials to his many guest roles on television. His most recent comedy special We All Scream (which also marked his directorial debut) launched on Netflix last September and Oswalt was recently nominated for a Grammy for his comedy album. Last year, he starred in the Magnolia Pictures comedy I Love My Dad, winner of the Grand Jury and Audience awards at the 2022 SXSW Film Festival.
Oswalt was nominated for a Critics Choice Award for his performance in Jason Reitman’s film Young Adult, starring opposite Charlize Theron. In 2009, he also received critical acclaim for his performance in Robert Siegel’s Big Fan; the film was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award and Oswalt earned a Gotham Award nomination for his performance.
